Furniture Installer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads or assists in loading assigned vehicle with all product and equipment necessary to complete the day’s workload.
• Inspects loads for potential problems/discrepancies and ensures that all necessary tools, parts, and equipment are available and loaded.
• Assembles and installs office furniture and other related products. Works under the direction of the Operations Manager, as part of a crew of other team members and/or subcontractors assigned to the job.
• Completes appropriate paperwork, documenting any discrepancies and punch list items.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
• One year of experience assembling, installing, and dismantling office furniture or similar products is required. Experience with Steelcase products is preferred.
• The ability to read furniture plans and blueprints is required.
• Clear and professional communication skills are required.
• The ability to lift and move loads of up to 50 lbs. is required.
• The ability to load and unload delivery trucks is required.
• The ability to drive directly to the site as needed is required.
