Furnace Assistants will have the opportunity to start out making $23.08 and grow to $26.68 after 90 days with good attendance and performance. Work only 15 days out of the month with 7 days off to have a good work life balance. SIGN ON BONUS - $300 AFTER 90 DAYS RETENTION BONUS - $600 AFTER 9 MONTHS

Qualifications

• Furnace Assistant
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Position requires the use of senses, including visual examination, observing surrounding traffic, and determining employee location
• Position requires the ability to judge distance and distinguish colors
• Position requires the use of touch and smell to identify problems with equipment, and the ability to speak and understand speech
• Must be adequately able to hear safety alarms
• Position may require working in tight and confined working conditions
• Position will require working in extreme heat while working directly on or near furnaces
• Position requires the ability to climb, ascend/descend ladders, balance, and work at heights for extended periods of time
• Also requires body movement such as walking, standing, reaching, crouching, sitting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and turning of torso
