Funeral Assistant

About the role

We have an opening for multiple part‑time Funeral Assistants. As a Funeral Assistant, you will help with guest registration, ushering, and various other tasks related to visitations and services.

Locations

Brainard Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Helke Funeral and Cremation Service, Taylor‑Stine‑Waid Funeral and Cremation Service – Eagle Drive. Each funeral home is part of Vertin, a privately held organization headquartered in Minnesota with eight state locations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift floral bouquets (minimum)
• Previous experience in a support or customer‑facing role is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
