About the role
GlowUp ACS is a nonprofit workforce development organization focused on preparing students and early-career professionals for professional environments through hands-on training programs and structured internships. Our programs are designed to simulate real workplace expectations, combining mentorship, skills development, and real-world project experience so participants are not entering the workforce unprepared.
Responsibilities
- Secure funding to support GlowUp ACS programs and expand its impact
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase donations and grants
- Collaborate with the executive team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals
- Build and maintain relationships with potential donors and sponsors
- Prepare and present compelling case statements and proposals to secure funding
- Manage and track fundraising activities and outcomes
Requirements
- Experience in donor relations, grant writing, and resource development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Passionate about supporting students and workforce development
Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Experience working with nonprofits or similar organizations
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends
