Fundraising Lead
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, eager, and creative individual to lead our fundraising committee for Dundas County Hospice, a not-for-profit organization supporting community members at their most vulnerable. The committee is a group of volunteers who collaborate to organize two major annual fundraisers: the Hike for Hospice in May and the Golf for Hospice tournament in June.
Many team members have past experience with these events and share a strong commitment to the organization. This is a volunteer position with a time commitment that varies from a few hours per month to more intensive involvement in the months leading up to an event. Staff support is provided for you and the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the fundraising committee in planning and executing two major annual events.
- Delegate tasks and collaborate with a team of volunteers.
- Ensure attention to detail and organizational efficiency in event planning.
