About the role
The Carboncopies Foundation is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science and technology of whole brain emulation. This is a REMOTE Volunteer position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Grant Writing: Research funding sources and craft compelling grant proposals.
- Research prospective donors
- Identify and contact potential donors
- Use online platforms to raise donations
- Maintain records of donor information
- Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, English, business, public administration, or related field
- 1-2 + years of nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience
- Demonstrated success securing grants and managing donor relationships
- Experience in grant writing and proposal preparation
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and funding applications simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and legal regulations
Time Commitment
1 hour weekly organization meeting
1 hour daily co-working sessions
5-8 hours / week
At least 5 months
