About the role

The Carboncopies Foundation is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science and technology of whole brain emulation. This is a REMOTE Volunteer position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies and campaigns
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
• Grant Writing: Research funding sources and craft compelling grant proposals.
• Research prospective donors
• Identify and contact potential donors
• Use online platforms to raise donations
• Maintain records of donor information
• Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, English, business, public administration, or related field
• 1-2 + years of nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience
• Demonstrated success securing grants and managing donor relationships
• Experience in grant writing and proposal preparation
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and funding applications simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and legal regulations

Time Commitment

1 hour weekly organization meeting
1 hour daily co-working sessions
5-8 hours / week
At least 5 months
