About the role

Our client is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to oversee the accounting and administration of private equity and hedge fund clients. This role combines fund accounting, client service, and supervision of junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Review NAV calculations, reconciliations, and fund accounting reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support year-end audits.
• Manage client inquiries, reporting deadlines, and escalated matters.
• Review the work of Fund Accounting Analysts.
• Train, supervise, and support the development of junior team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of fund accounting or fund administration experience.
• Alternative investment experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, communication, and client service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Previous experience reviewing or supervising junior team members is advantageous.
