About the role

Supervises a team of administrators responsible for providing accounting, administration, and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers. Serves as a trusted advisor to clients by continually assessing changing business strategies and providing expertise, tools, and information to focus on growing investments. Acts as the escalation point for all clients assigned to the team, directing issue resolution and process changes to support client needs. Proactively identifies risk-related issues through review of qualitative and quantitative data, anticipates obstacles, and implements mitigating solutions.

Reviews accounting and financial statement information for audit and tax reviews, documentation and setup of accounting principles for unusual investment types, and setup/processing of complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliation items.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of administrators providing accounting and investor servicing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, assessing business strategies and offering expertise.
  • Act as the escalation point for client issues and direct resolution and process improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate risk-related issues through data analysis.
  • Review financial statements, accounting principles, and complex expense calculations for accuracy.
  • Support audit and tax reviews with documentation and setup.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven to nine years of experience in the alternative investments industry.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Thorough knowledge of Advent applications preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of portfolio accounting and the investment management industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven team-oriented, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $111,095.00 - $130,700.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
