Fund Accounting / Month-end Close Support

About the role

The Interim Fund Accountant will be responsible for owning month-end and quarter-end close processes across assigned funds, maintaining day-to-day fund/portfolio accounting operations, processing and reconciling portfolio/loan activity in WSO, supporting fund accounting in Geneva, ensuring accurate data flow and reconciliation between WSO and Geneva, and supporting testing, UAT, and project/implementation activities.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close across assigned funds
• Maintain day-to-day fund/portfolio accounting operations
• Process and reconcile portfolio/loan activity in WSO; support fund accounting in Geneva
• Ensure accurate data flow and reconciliation between WSO and Geneva
• Support testing, UAT, and project/implementation activities

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on WSO (Wall Street Office) experience - top priority (~4-7 years fund/portfolio accounting, private credit / direct lending ideal)
• Prominent ownership of month-end/quarter-end close
• Functional accounting/operations orientation (not a purely technical systems resource)
• Geneva experience (highly preferred)
• Understanding of how information translates between WSO and Geneva
• Private credit / middle market / sponsor-backed lending exposure
