About the role
Citi’s Internal Audit division provides independent assessments of the company’s governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. Internal Audit is a change agent within Citi aimed to enhance the control culture of Citi worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe.
Program overview
Citi’s Internal Audit Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship opportunity in Dallas, Texas. The program begins in June with a 3-day training program providing an overview of Citi and an introduction to Citi’s Internal Audit Organization. Summer Analysts receive development-focused opportunities coupled with structured classroom training, mentoring, and individual development.
As an Internal Audit Summer Analyst, you will be assigned to one of Citi’s core businesses or global functions to ensure that a sound control framework and environment is in place globally through the delivery of independent and timely assurance.
Your time in the program will include:
- Real-world work expected to add value to your team during the 10 weeks
- Senior and Junior Mentors and networking opportunities
- Senior Speaker Events where Citi’s senior IA professionals host discussions and answer questions about their careers and IA functions
- Cross-functional exposure to gain a well-rounded experience at Citi
- Networking with other Citi interns, current program participants, and other IA professionals
- Presentation of accomplishments and lessons learned to the Senior IA Management team at the conclusion of the program
Top performing Summer Analysts will be considered for the full-time Internal Audit Analyst Programs.
Qualifications
- At least a 3.3 GPA
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2027 and June 2028
- Eligible for U.S. work authorization now and in the future without requiring sponsorship

Pay
Annual Salary: $75,000.00
