2027 Internal Audit Analyst Program - Summer Analyst Opportunity
About the role
This role is for a passionate, curious individual who evaluates the effectiveness of controls across different areas of global business, operations and/or technology. The role involves working with regulators, business leaders and others to ensure the firm is doing this effectively. You will build an understanding of business processes, risks and related controls, depict your knowledge through visuals like process flows, and test the effectiveness of these controls.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyze risks in our businesses and evaluate the controls established to mitigate those risks.
Test controls by reviewing documents, observing teams and meeting with management.
Provide management with feedback regarding the effectiveness of the controls.
Focus on reviews of business applications, data management, global infrastructure, digital technologies and cyber/information security.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in our technology organization.
Provide management with feedback regarding the control environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date of December 2027 through July 2028.
- A well-rounded academic background.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage time, prioritize and know when to seek help.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skills
- Knowledge of AI and data analytic concepts and their application, including hands-on experience using common AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and understanding of core data analytics techniques such as data profiling, data conversion, and data formatting/standardization.
