Functional Test / UAT Analyst

About the role

Kearney & Company is seeking a Functional Test / UAT Senior Consultant to join a team supporting a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The ideal candidate will work within a cross‑functional Kearney‑led team implementing an enterprise OneStream‑based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices. Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios, scripts, and expected results
• Execute functional and end‑to‑end tests
• Validate financial calculations, workflows, reports, exhibits, and data
• Document and track defects
• Support regression testing
• Maintain requirements‑to‑test traceability
• Support Government UAT sessions
• Prepare test evidence and deployment‑readiness documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience
• Business/functional testing experience
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Experience with requirements and defect tracking
• Active Secret Clearance (or higher) – requires U.S. citizenship

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Federal financial systems testing
• PPBE/budget experience
• OneStream experience
• Navy/DoD experience

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000 (base pay only). Actual compensation will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. The position is eligible for bonuses when applicable.

Schedule

Ability to be onsite 2‑3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC.
