Required Skills

• At least 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience, including writing and executing test scenarios and analyzing and clearly documenting programming defects inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems, with a focus on Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing of various public assistance programs including Cash (TANF), Medical Assistance (Medicaid), Food Benefits (SNAP), and Child Care.
• Proficiency with testing techniques – understanding white-box, black-box, coverage, and regression approaches.
• Demonstrated experience testing batches, interfaces (including flat files and SOAP UI), reports, security roles (including coarse-grain and fine-grain), and data conversion.
• Proficiency in reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, writing and updating test cases, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications.
• Ability to independently write and modify SQL queries of moderate complexity to validate database results.
• Experience testing Web-based replacement of legacy systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and prioritize effectively to ensure work delivery according to project timelines.
• Ability to coordinate across teams to gather information, present findings, and resolve issues.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Ability to deliver under pressure.
• Willingness to live and work in central Pennsylvania.

Preferred Skills

• Test automation experience.
• Experience with methodologies including but not limited to Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall.
• Experience using Azure DevOps to write and run test cases.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, developing/updating test scenarios, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for a web-based application.
