About the role
ExpertCare is looking for Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The role involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill building activities, as well as bringing Recipients into the community to support their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Support and encourage Recipients in their homes
- Help Recipients build new skills through various activities
- Bring Recipients into the community to support their personal growth
- Work closely with care plans to provide consistent support
Requirements
- Compassionate and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
