Part Time Youth Mentor

About the role

The Part Time Youth Mentor's primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. You have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities
• Foster youth development in an after school setting
• Serve and develop kids in our programs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred; some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Pass mandatory background/sex offender check
• Valid driver's license or valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation

• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Experience

• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year

Pay

• Non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17–20 hours per week
