Full-Time Work Crew Supervisor

About the role

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) provides employment services to people recently released from incarceration. CEO aims to prepare these individuals for securing employment each year through various programs.

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and train work crews of 5-10 individuals.
• Create an uplifting work environment that ensures team member safety.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and encourage empowerment.
• Balance engagement and accountability across the crew.
• Lead public beautification projects such as litter abatement, landscaping, and other similar projects.
• Ensure accurate recording of work time and compliance with T&A processes.
• Monitor crew members for job performance and productivity.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Complete necessary daily reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Able to consistently lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, and climb to complete projects.
• Able to work outdoors and walk/stand for long periods.
• Able to drive a 12-passenger van with an attached trailer.
• Able to operate a smartphone.
• Previous safety training is preferable but will be provided to the hired candidate.

Additional Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive staff morale through modeling sound leadership and teamwork.
• Assign job duties to crew members and set reasonable goals for completion.
• Report any matters threatening the smooth operation of the training crew to your supervisor.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $22.69. CEO offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, professional development opportunities, and training, including regular training opportunities in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Schedule

This role involves work hours typically from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday through Friday), with occasional overtime built into the role.
