Responsibilities
- Answering calls from guests, vendors, and team members requiring assistance
- Dispatching guest service & valet colleagues to handle requests such as (but not limited to): Vehicle retrievals, Luggage pulls, Luggage deliveries, Room move assistance, Resort orientations
- Maintains logs, stores and maintains vehicle keys
- Keeps track of guest’s arrivals and departures daily and communicates with the Bell/Valet team to assist guests in a timely manner
- Assists guests with general inquiries, responds to guest requests, questions and effectively solves guest concerns
- Communicates service request calls to a variety of hotel departments
- Processes payment for valet parking and associated fees
- Uses hotel network efficiently as an information resource to keep current on hotel events, hours of operation, guest information and communications through email
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in Valet, guest services, or Front Desk a plus, but not required
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service
- Must be computer savvy
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
