Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma patients in a progressive care/step-down setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Perform telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medication
- Provide wound and post-surgical care
- Respond rapidly to patient condition changes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families
- Promote a culture of compassion, teamwork, and clinical excellence
