About the role
The Finance and Graduate Economics Department in the Lubin School of Business at Pace University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Finance specializing in Investments, Household Finance, Asset Management, or related tracks. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities
- Teach primarily in the areas of wealth management, financial planning, and adjacent finance disciplines across Pace University's New York City and Pleasantville campuses, based on departmental needs.
- Contribute actively to the life of the department, school, and university through committee work, student engagement, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and other service initiatives.
Requirements
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D., D.B.A., or equivalent terminal degree) in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach courses in asset management, financial planning, and related finance subjects.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the university level or strong potential for teaching excellence.
- Ability to teach on both the New York City and Pleasantville campuses as departmental needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant professional experience in investments, asset management, financial planning, private wealth advisory, or related areas of finance.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
