Behavioral Health Nurse - New Grad Opportunity Role: Provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences principles. Responsibilities Include Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and directing family-centered care for individuals or groups within scope of practice.Delivering care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages and developmental stages.Exercising leadership, performing patient-centered, quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practices.Supporting staff education, mentoring new employees, and fostering team collaboration.Engaging in systems-based practice, informatics, and technology duties.Potentially rotating across various areas based on patient needs.Performing other related duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively.Experience with healthcare teams and familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (preferably EPIC).Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred.BSN required or to be obtained within five years.Current Basic Life Support certification and Ohio RN license (Multistate License required). Additional Information: Onsite role working 36 hours/week, nights, every other weekend and holiday, with the flexibility to be assigned to different units as needed.
