Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients, including assessments, developing and evaluating treatment plans, and documenting nursing care.
- Utilize critical thinking to analyze patient data, notify physicians of changes, and ensure patient safety.
- Supervise care delivered by LPNs and techs.
- Educate patients and families.
- Apply evidence-based practices aligned with patient needs.
- Adhere to nursing standards and policies.
- Demonstrate professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of RN experience.
- Must hold valid licensure and certifications, including BLS and RN licensure from the respective state or a compact state.
Physical requirements include constant communication, mobility, and occasional patient lifting.
