About the role
Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea, MN, is seeking a Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic therapy team. The position offers a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible direct applicants.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy sessions to residents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' communication and swallowing abilities.
- Educate residents and their families on strategies to support communication and swallowing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in SLP.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
