Role Overview
This position is for a Senior CT Technologist responsible for performing computed axial tomography (CT) scans on patients across multiple sites. Key duties include scheduling and preparing patients, administering contrast materials, and monitoring procedures. The technologist develops training criteria for new staff, oversees daily operations, maintains equipment, and ensures quality assurance standards are met. They also oversee department activities in the absence of the supervisor, handle patient records, and ensure proper documentation and billing. The role requires supervising staff, managing supplies, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the radiology department.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or accredited Radiologic Technology certificate
- 3+ years of CT experience
- ARRT (R) and (CT) registration or NMTCB (CT) certification upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
