About the role
As a Self-Storage Relief Manager at American Store & Lock, you'll play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of our facilities. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and ensuring smooth operations.Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and a handshake
- Help customers choose the right storage unit
- Complete paperwork accurately for each rental
- Conduct scheduled facility Walk Thru and Lock checks
- Post all payments received on the same day
- Track and follow up on overdue accounts
- Keep detailed records of customer information
- Make daily bank deposits and post receipts
- Create and execute monthly marketing campaigns
- Maintain merchandise inventory for sale
- Clean vacant units to make them rentable
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the property
- Prepare auction units according to procedures and laws
- Assist customers with U-Haul rentals, cleaning, and returning equipment

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass attitude and aptitude testing
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Regular standing, walking, lifting, and bending
