About the role
The Manager-on-Deck (MOD) oversees overall store performance, ensuring maximum sales, profitability, and excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing business trends
- Managing expenses
- Controlling costs
- Maintaining financial controls
- Leading team management by setting expectations, coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring policy compliance
- Ensuring the store's cleanliness, safety, and merchandising standards
- Handling facility inspections and maintenance coordination
Qualifications
- At least two years of management or relevant automotive industry experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals
- Prior technical experience is a plus
Requirements
- Must be able to work multiple days including Saturdays
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, and mobility
- Ability to work in environments with dust, fumes, and varying temperatures, requiring physical endurance
