Pay
$22.05–23.00/hour based on location and experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency situations in person and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
- Conduct constant foot patrol and monitoring outdoors in all weather conditions for the majority of the shift.
- Respond to emergency situations involving patrons with Quality of Life issues such as homelessness and addictions.
- Write detailed incident reports daily.
- Use modern technology to monitor a variety of alarm signals and dispatch security personnel following the standard operations manual to notify proper authorities.
- Answer incoming lines and communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
- Work individually and as a team to respond to incidents.
- Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents as required.
- Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and duties.
- Respond to requests for assistance and comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
- Assume other duties as required by either the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Windows, Outlook, and One Note; ability to work with multiple screens.
- Ability to remain alert and active with the majority of the shift on foot.
- Ability to de-escalate irate tenant/customer calls or access requests.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Dependable means of transportation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal).
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings.
