Pay

$22.05–23.00/hour based on location and experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations in person and provide assistance to patrons with quality-of-life issues such as homelessness and addictions.
• Conduct constant foot patrol and monitoring outdoors in all weather conditions for the majority of the shift.
• Use modern technology to monitor alarm signals and dispatch security personnel following the standard operations manual to notify proper authorities.
• Answer incoming lines and communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments as necessary.
• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Write detailed incident reports daily.
• Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities.
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents as required.
• Comply with all requirements and directives within the on-site operations manual and post orders.
• Assume other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
• Computer literacy, including working in MS Windows, Outlook, and OneNote.
• Ability to remain alert and active with the majority of the shift on foot.
• Ability to de-escalate irate tenant/customer calls or access requests.
• Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Dependable means of transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings.
