Full-Time Sales Associate

Role Overview

The Lead Sales Associate maintains a clean, organized store with a customer‑focused approach. They assist customers, operate cash registers, stock merchandise, and ensure store cleanliness. Acting in a leadership capacity, they support store operations in the absence of management and help implement planograms to optimize product displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and give change
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise according to planograms
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Support opening and closing procedures under management guidance
• Perform duties typically handled by store management when needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety policies and merchandise presentation
• Basic math and cash handling abilities
• Ability to follow procedures, operate equipment, and lift up to 55 pounds
• Experience or training in supervisory roles is preferred

Working Conditions

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting; handling merchandise and equipment; occasional climbing and exposure to outside weather; required to drive for bank deposits and store visits. The environment is fast‑paced with moderate noise levels.
