Full-Time RN - Acute Care Internal Medicine

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top of scope nursing practice within a multidisciplinary team approach
• Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based care
• Precept and mentor new healthcare staff
• Contribute to a secure and high-quality clinical environment

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire

Key Duties

Care includes moderate to high acuity patients, supported by evidence-based models, specialty certifications, and clinical educators for ongoing competency validation. The role emphasizes professional growth, safety, and patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
