About the role
Provides respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Performs therapeutic procedures
- Monitors and weans oxygen therapy and ventilation
- Analyzes arterial blood gases and EKGs
- Assists with airway management
- Educates patients and staff
- Maintains clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
- Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- BLS certification
- NRP for NICU-trained therapists
- ACLS within 90 days of hire

- Proficiency in computer data entry
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Interpersonal abilities
Key Duties
- Execute routine and advanced respiratory procedures
- Review patient information
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Stay current with technical knowledge
