About the Role
The Supervisor Respiratory Care co-manages and coordinates respiratory unit functions, interprets policies, and performs duties across various respiratory capacities. They demonstrate proficiency in caring for diverse age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and participate in ongoing education to maintain skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise respiratory care activities and staff.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and regulations.
- Deliver patient-centered respiratory care.
- Interpret clinical protocols and perform duties as needed.
- Participate in team leadership and support quality improvement.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS); within 90 days, acquire ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
- 3 years of management experience.
Pay
Compensation is based on experience within a pay range of $46.29 to $71.85 per hour.
