About the Role
The Supervisor Respiratory Care, under the supervision of the Manager, co-manages unit activities, interprets policies, and performs duties across respiratory capacities. This position demonstrates proficiency in delivering age-specific patient care (infants to geriatrics) and participates in ongoing education. The role requires leadership in coordinating respiratory services to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Co-manage and coordinate respiratory care unit functions
- Interpret policies, procedures, and standards
- Supervise staff and ensure compliance with regulations
- Deliver care to diverse patient populations
- Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
- Preferred: 3 years of management experience
Pay
$46.29 to $71.85 per hour
