About the role

As the Leasing & Marketing Representative at Founders Yard in Charleston, SC, you will serve as the welcoming face of the property, engaging with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. This role involves leasing apartments, managing move-ins and lease renewals, and maintaining strong relationships with residents and guests. Ideal candidates are outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive living experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests and make them feel welcome while addressing their needs.
  • Maintain property social media pages and website.
  • Gather information about the property, surrounding community, and competition.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and knocks at the door.
  • Lead guests through vacant or model apartments, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Follow up with each potential resident to nurture leads.
  • Inspect vacant and model apartments daily, as well as amenity spaces.
  • Schedule and coordinate leasing signage.
  • Actively participate in marketing outreach, including shopping competitive properties, preparing marketing materials, and attending events.
  • Promote resident retention programs by attending events and socializing with residents.
  • Perform administrative duties to support the property manager and leasing team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a multifamily community preferred.
  • Software skills and knowledge preferred: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MRI.
  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal relationship abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and remain highly organized.

Pay

Starting rate: $21/hour. Potential for increase based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility to work Saturdays from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
