Full-Time Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Observation

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Responsible for performing general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizing care, along with other assigned tasks. Key Responsibilities Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.Administers prescribed medications and provides age-appropriate care.Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans.Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and assist physicians with procedures.Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services regarding discharge and post-care needs.Practices cost-effective and resource-efficient care.Prioritizes patient safety and promotes a safe care environment.Engages in ongoing professional learning and development. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
