Full-Time Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to support patient health, dignity, and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed and performs treatments.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical skills.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates discharge and post-discharge plans.
• Practices cost-efficient resource usage and promotes patient safety.
• Engages in lifelong learning to stay current in the nursing profession.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
