About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff
• Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care within organizational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff
• Deliver patient-centered care ensuring safety and quality standards
• Maintain professional development and adhere to organizational policies

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• BLS certification required

Qualifications

• Preferred: hospital experience
• Preferred: bachelor's degree
• Preferred: advanced certifications in specialty areas
