Full-Time Probationary Speech Language Teacher (Pool of Positions)
About the role
The successful candidates will be highly proficient in diagnostic assessment to identify any speech, fluency, and language impairments that interfere with students' success in the academic program. The speech-language teacher will work with students who have a range of speech/language needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with students who have a range of speech/language needs.
- Identify and address speech, fluency, and language impairments.
- Implement functional communication training and augmentative & alternative communication systems as needed.
Qualifications
- N.Y. Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities is required.
- Speech Pathologist licensure is preferred.
Pay
Salary Highly competitive, per Rush-Henrietta Teachers' Contract.
