Full Time - Prep Cook (Sun,Mon,Fri,Sat)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of meals for residents and employees
• Helping to prepare food for the next meal service, which includes chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes
• Ensuring all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations
• Checking all food temperatures prior to meal service
• Garnishing all plates before they leave the kitchen area
• Auxiliary kitchen functions such as dishwasher, utilities, line cook, prep cook

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy kitchen or food preparation area
• Experience in a restaurant, catering facility, hospital, hospitality, healthcare or similar food services related industry
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management
