Cook Full-time (Sunday-Thursday)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of meals for residents and employees at The Bristal
• Helping to prepare food for the next meal service, including chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes
• Ensuring all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations
• Checking all food temperatures prior to meal service
• Garnishing all plates before they leave the kitchen area

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in food handling and preparation, sanitation, and safety standards for institutions and/or restaurants
• Culinary or cooking school experience/courses preferred; a minimum of a high school degree
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent ability to prioritize, deliver topnotch customer service and multi-task in a busy environment
• Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management
