Full-time Physical Therapist

About the role

Westwood Ridge in West Saint Paul, MN, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Physical Therapist. You will collaborate with a compassionate and experienced team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors we serve every day. This position is based at Westwood Ridge but also includes travel to multiple Vivie senior living communities throughout the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area to support resident care across our network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents based on their needs and goals
• Perform therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Evaluate residents' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide education to residents and their families on maintaining independence and managing health conditions
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care

Requirements

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Minnesota
• At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
