Full-Time Phlebotomist

IVI RMA North America is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our Eatontown clinic.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Responsibilities

• Properly identify patients
• Perform and explain venipuncture and other specimen-collection procedures
• Conduct blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge specimens
• Store and transport specimen samples according to protocols to maintain specimen integrity
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
• Maintain a clean and stocked phlebotomy area
• Reassure patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties
• Maintain cooperative relationships with clinical staff to create a positive patient experience

Requirements

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program (highly preferred; required in CA, WA, TX)
• 3+ years of recent venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
