Full-Time Perioperative Services Manager

About the role

The Perioperative Nurse Manager oversees clinical practice and patient care in the Perioperative Department, which includes Pre-op, Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and GI/Endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork among staff members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Develop staff competency through ongoing education and training programs.
• Implement and lead quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Carefully coordinate patient flow, manage staffing and schedules, and monitor care quality.
• Conduct regular staff evaluations and address patient and staff concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Bachelor's program in nursing.
• At least five years of perioperative clinical experience.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• A current California RN license.
• PREFERRED: Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR).

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic computer use is preferred.
