Special Pay
The base pay range is $15.81 - $24.92 per hour, based on experience. In addition, there is a special pay of 10% and $2 per hour for floating.

Job Description
- Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to resolve problems during visits
- Communicate delays to relevant departments and greet/escort patients and visitors
- Use excellent guest relations skills and maintain waiting room and office areas
- Use office equipment and maintain knowledge of medical terminology
- Prepare and manage patient medical records and physician orders
- Validate patient information, manage collections, and process billing documents
- Perform patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, and appointment management
- May perform additional duties based on location and department
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months of experience with frontline customer service and guest relations
- Experience in a health care setting, hospital admissions, registration, medical office, and use of medical terminology preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a health care setting
- Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4 coding, and managed care plans
- Ability to perform POC testing and maintain equipment
