About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, with a focus on patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Support the interprofessional team
- Perform validated patient care activities
- Maintain a safe environment
- Assist with supplies and equipment
- Conduct patient rounds
- Facilitate virtual safety or telehealth encounters using peripheral devices and technology
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs
- Ability to complete delegated tasks
- Respectful communication skills
- BLS certification upon hire
Qualifications
Preferred experience includes a healthcare or CNA background.
