Full Time / Part Time - Order Writer / Nabisco Merchandising

About the role

As a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer, you will fulfill merchandising needs by communicating and building relationships with customers, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. You will represent world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit, optimizing product visibility and supporting seasonal campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Optimize visibility of Mondelēz products, including Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others), by stocking shelves and maintaining displays according to company guidelines.
• Ensure negotiated plans with store managers are followed; communicate any issues to the Mondelēz management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, implement seasonal displays, and support new product launches.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.
• Carry out quantitative and qualitative filling of Mondelēz IMPULSE products (Gum, candy) in checkouts and dedicated impulse-product locations (linear shops, contact points, additives).
• Follow checkout implementation plan guidelines negotiated by Mondelēz sales representatives; report issues to store employees and Mondelēz representatives.
• Occasionally fill seasonal shelves and implement seasonal visibility actions in-store.
• Follow daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure efficient in-store service.
• Work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive, professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.
• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
• Must live within a 25-35 mile range of the primary location: Chicago, IL.
• Good interpersonal skills and self-motivation to achieve set goals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to share information effectively.
