About the role
Join our team as a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and other delicious industry-leading snacks.
Responsibilities
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
- Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
- Optimize sales with customers by maximizing in-store visibility of Mondelēz products, focusing on impulse products (Gum, candy) in checkouts and dedicated store locations.
- Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
- Follow check-out implementation plan guidelines negotiated by Mondelēz sales representatives to fill checkouts and ensure competition compliance; report issues to Mondelēz sales representatives and store employees.
- Follow the daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
- Occasionally fill seasonal shelves and implement seasonal extra visibility actions in-store.
- Support the implementation of seasonal campaigns and new product launches to optimize seasonal sales.
- Represent Mondelēz International in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility.
- Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
- Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license issued by the state in which you reside.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to perform physical activities such as repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes moving products from stock rooms to store floors and stocking shelves.
- Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
- Live within a 25-35 mile range from the primary location: Chicago, IL.
