About the role
Join our mission to lead the future of snacking at Mondelēz International. As a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer, you will fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. You will represent world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit, optimizing product visibility and supporting seasonal campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
- Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
- Optimize in-store visibility of Mondelēz products, focusing on impulse categories (Gum, candy) in checkouts and dedicated store locations (linear shops, contact points, additives).
- Follow Mondelēz implementation plan guidelines for checkouts and ensure competition compliance; report issues to the sales representative and store employees.
- Stock and maintain shelves according to Mondelēz guidelines, ensuring leading brands (e.g., Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit) are well represented.
- Follow daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure efficient in-store service.
- Support seasonal sales, implement seasonal displays, and assist with new product launches.
- Occasionally fill seasonal shelves and execute extra visibility actions in-store.
- Represent Mondelēz International in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility.
- Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license issued in your state of residence.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Positive, professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to drive your personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.
- Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
- Live within a 25-35 mile range of the primary location: Chicago, IL.

Pay
Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.15 to $20.19 based on relevant experience.
