Full Time / Part Time - Order Writer / Nabisco Merchandising

About the role

Join our team as a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and other delicious industry-leading snacks.

You will optimize sales with our customers, focusing on maximizing in-store visibility of our products and delivering field KPIs and annual objectives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Carry out quantitative and qualitative filling of Mondelēz IMPULSE products (Gum, candy) in checkouts and in-store locations dedicated to impulse products (linear shops, contact points, additives).
• Follow checkout implementation plan guidelines negotiated by Mondelēz sales representative to fill in checkouts and ensure competition is respecting it. Inform Mondelēz sales representative and store employee in case of issues.
• Occasionally fill in seasonal shelves and put in place seasonal extra visibility actions in-store.
• Follow the daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
• Optimize seasonal sales and support the implementation of seasonal campaigns for in-store visibility.
• Represent Mondelēz International in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products.
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in-store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and meet defined physical activities, including:
  • Repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.
  • Physically moving products from stock rooms to store floor and stocking shelves.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within a 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Chicago, IL.

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.15 to $20.19 based on relevant experience.
