About the role

Jovie offers an on‑call backup nanny position that lets you work around your flexible schedule. Ideal for former babysitters, daycare workers, nannies, church nursery volunteers, retired teachers, or teaching professionals seeking a small‑environment role.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home care for children (infants through toddlers); highest demand for children under age 2.
• No transportation of children required.
• Perform only common‑sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child.
• Ensure child safety and lead hands‑on, age‑appropriate activities based on your observations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children (paid or unpaid); infant experience is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various homes in the service area.
• Available for any 3 or more weekdays for 6‑8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Communicative, responsive to the staffing supervisor, and able to greet families with a bright smile.

Pay

• $18.00 – $21.50 per hour.
• Paid training provided.
