About the role

As a Paramedic with Hampton County EMS, you’ll provide advanced pre-hospital care and emergency transportation in a rural setting that values teamwork, professionalism, and public service. We operate a 911 emergency medical service with occasional interfacility transports, answering approximately 4,000 calls per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced pre-hospital care and emergency transportation in a rural setting

• Work 24/48 rotating shifts

Requirements

• National Registry and South Carolina Paramedic certification required
• Valid SC Driver’s License (Class D with appropriate endorsement preferred)
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• EVOC or CEVO preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Experience in rural EMS
• Additional certifications (PHTLS, AMLS, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills

Pay

Current Base Annual Salary: $56,372.00 ($17.00/HR)

Paid biweekly

Overtime opportunities available

Monthly paid in-service training program required and provided
